Proche de cette art\u00e8re mythique de Marseille, les cordages sont fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de cette mati\u00e8re, notamment pour l\u2019Arsenal des Gal\u00e8res. La bonne orthographe est bien \u201cCanebi\u00e8re\u201d, ainsi qu\u2019on l\u2019\u00e9crivait jusqu\u2019en 1857. Provisoirement renomm\u00e9 d\u2019apr\u00e8s le latin \u201ccannabis\u201d, on lui donne un deuxi\u00e8me \u201cn\u201d. Elle (re)prend son orthographe moderne en 1927, lors de la r\u00e9union des 3 tron\u00e7ons qui la composent : l\u2019originel (Vieux Port\/Cours St-Louis), l\u2019ancienne rue Noailles (Cours St Louis\/Lieutaud) et les all\u00e9es Meilhan (Lieutaud\/R\u00e9form\u00e9s).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2764\ufe0f Dans les ann\u00e9es 20, la Canebi\u00e8re est le c\u0153ur battant de la ville, o\u00f9 marins et voyageurs, hommes illustres et chefs d\u2019Etat, femmes de la haute soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et riches importateurs passent devant la foule des caf\u00e9s et grands magasins, un vrai \u201cboulevard des mondes\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udfc6 Marseille est alors dot\u00e9e d\u2019un r\u00e9seau de transport en commun immense et performant. Plus de 27 lignes desservent la Canebi\u00e8re, on va jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Aubagne, l\u2019Estaque, Saint-Barnab\u00e9 ; on compte 112 millions de voyageurs en 1913\u2026 Apr\u00e8s la Grande Guerre, le r\u00e9seau est d\u00e9t\u00e9rior\u00e9 mais survit \u00e0 la concurrence des trolleybus et autobus, et surtout \u00e0 l\u2019arriv\u00e9e des voitures. C\u2019est la 2nd GM qui l\u2019ach\u00e8ve : les infrastructures sont en lambeaux, les investissements \u00e0 faire colossaux, la voiture individuelle et l\u2019autobus prennent l\u2019ascendant&#8230; Les derni\u00e8res lignes s\u2019arr\u00eatent en 1960 (except\u00e9 la ligne 68 \u201cNoailles-St Pierre\u201d) pour faire place au tout-voiture.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u267e\ufe0f L\u2019Histoire \u00e9tant un \u00e9ternel recommencement, en 2007 le tram fait son retour !
